Personalised Implants maakt deel uit van het nieuwe Health Technology Research and Innovation Cluster (HTRIC) dat onderzoek, gezondheidstechnologie en klinische praktijk met elkaar verbindt voor meer gezonde levensjaren.
Via de PI-partners Joep Kraeima en Max Witjes (3DLab Groningen) werd het PI-ecosysteem rap gepresenteerd op de eerste Innovation Booster sessie gericht op het “safe-by-design” concept. In zijn presentatie legde Joep Kraeima uit hoe in het proces van implantaatontwerp afwegingen worden gemaakt om implantaten te genereren die veilig zijn en op de lange termijn minder kans op falen hebben.

The first Innovation Booster of HTRIC was held on March 4, 2022 on the topic SAFE-by-DESIGN.
Through the PI-partners Joep Kraeima and Max Witjes (3DLab Groningen), the PI-ecosystem was rapresented at the first Innovation Booster session focused on “safe-by-design” concept. In his presentation, Joep Kraeima explained how in the process of implant design, considerations are made to generate implants that are safe and less prone to failure in the long-term.
