Het ecosysteem, in co-hosting met het Health Technology Research and Innovation Cluster (HTRIC) hield op 24 november 2022 een partnerevenement.
Op het programma stonden presentaties van Sjoerd Praat, quality engineer bij WITEC, die vertelde over het resultaat en de uitdagingen in de optimalisatie van de design workflow, Albert Poortinga, van Bether Encapsulates die vertelde over de resultaten in het gebruik van nanobubbels om antibiotica af te geven om de onsent van een infectie te bestrijden en Roderick de Hilster, postdoc bij de van Rijn’s Biomedical engineering groep die vertelde over de vorderingen in printing. Ook kwam Jeroen Siebring online die zijn project introduceerde dat zich gaat richten op het vinden van vriendelijke manieren om scaffolds van implantaten van zacht weefsel te verwijderen.
Wij danken alle sprekers voor hun presentaties en het publiek voor de goede discussiepunten. Er is zeker input gegeven voor punten die een vervolg moeten krijgen. Ongeveer 45 mensen woonden het evenement bij, waaronder een mix van ondernemers, bedrijfsontwikkelaars, studenten, onderzoekers en klinische deskundigen.

The ecosystem joined forces with the Health Technology Research and Innovation Cluster (HTRIC) in the organization of the partner event planned on 24th November 2022.
The program included presentations by Sjoerd Praat, quality engineer at WITEC, who told about the result and challenges in the optimization of design workflow, Albert Poortinga, from Bether Encapsulates who told about the results in using nanobubbles to release antibiotic to control the onsent of an infection and Roderick de Hilster, postdoc at the van Rijn’s Biomedical engineering group who explained about the advances in printing. Joining online, Jeroen Siebring who introduced his project that is going to focus on finding friendly ways to remove scaffolds of implants of soft tissue. Around 45 people attended the event, including mix of entrepreneurs, businees developers, students, researchers and clinical experts.
We would like to thank you all the speakers for their presentations and the audiences for the good points of discussions raised. There was definitely input given for points to follow-up on.
